Step Out in Style Dressed as Lilo & Stitch at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

We recently showcased Chip 'n' Dale fashions inspired by the artwork at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Today we have something new to share – looks inspired by another Disney Vacation Club Resort, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows! We worked in collaboration with Disney bounding & fashion guru Leslie Kay to create some some stylish Lilo & Stitch fashions. She's sharing inspiration and tips for showcasing your Hawaiian rollercoaster side next time you stay at this resort.

The highlight of Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows has to be the overwater Bungalows. These Bungalows feature a private back deck, plunge pool, two bedrooms, two baths and sleep up to eight Guests. They also feature this adorable artwork of Lilo & Stitch lounging in a hammock in the pull-down beds.

It's this artwork that inspired us to seek out unique Lilo & Stitch wardrobe looks, so check out the inspiration board and some tips from Leslie below to get started on your Disney bounding!

Unique Lilo & Stitch wardrobe looks, inspired by Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

Style tips from Leslie:

  • For Stitch I usually use layers of a darker blue cardigan and darker blue pants and a lighter blue top—to match his lighter blue stomach.
  • Lilo's look—whether it be her red and white dress or her light green look—it's always very simple. I like to use accessories that match items she might come into contact with in the movie to make the look more her, instead of just a tropical look. For this style I used her rag doll, Scrump, as a purse!

Stay tuned! Coming up next we'll showcase some exciting new looks at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas in Hawai'i.
