Egg-stravaganza Returns to Disneyland Resort March 16

It's almost time once again for Egg-stravaganza at the Disneyland Resort! This popular egg-themed scavenger hunt has become a springtime tradition at Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure park and Downtown Disney District.

From March 16 through April 1, you can participate by picking up a map and stickers for $5.99 (plus tax) at select merchandise locations throughout Disneyland Resort. Search for special hidden "eggs" themed to Disney and Pixar characters, and record your discoveries by placing the corresponding sticker on the themed Egg-stravaganza map to represent that location.

Whether you choose to hunt for eggs or not, you can return your map to a redemption location for a special surprise. Redemption locations include the following merchandise shops: Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure park; Disney Showcase in Disneyland park; World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District.

Purchasing limits will apply, while supplies last. Please note that no discounts apply and separate admission is required to enter Disney Theme Parks. The experience is subject to restrictions and may change without notice.

Purple Wall-Inspired Design Among New MagicBands Available in March

Recently, Steven Miller shared with you three new MagicBand designs that you can expect to see at this year's Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. And there's even more wearable fun to look forward to in March!

Fans can now show off their appreciation for the famous and Instagram-worthy Purple Wall at Magic Kingdom Park with a new, limited release "Meet Me at the Purple Wall" MagicBand. This MagicBand, which our team has carefully designed to match the exact color shade from the Purple Wall, will be available as part of a two-week flash sale on ShopDisney.com beginning March 5.

I recommend pairing the MagicBand with one of our "Meet Me at the Purple Wall" baseball caps, which can be purchased together during this flash sale for a discounted price.

Star Wars MagicBand Star Wars MagicBand

Later in the month, we'll be introducing a new grey Star Wars MagicBand showcasing the iconic symbols of the Rebel Alliance, the Galactic Empire and more. This limited release MagicBand debuts online March 12 and wherever MagicBands are sold at Walt Disney World Resort on March 16.

Wildlife Wednesday: Experience The Magic of Nature On A Path Less Traveled

As we announced recently on the Disney Parks Blog, Disney's Animal Kingdom will mark its 20th anniversary this year, and I'm excited to announce that the festivities will get a kick start with A Path Less Traveled, a special collection of unique experiences that give guests a fun behind-the-scenes look at the magic of nature offered April 1-May 5.

Disney's Animal Kingdom guests learn about what goes on behind-the-scenes as part of the A Path Less Traveled experience

Guests who experience A Path Less Traveled will participate in:

  • Caring for Giants, an experience that brings them closer to the African elephant herd to learn how Disney cares for these animals in the park and helps support their survival in the wild.
  • Backstage tours of the state-of-the-art Vet Hospital and Animal Nutrition Center, where meals are prepared for more than 1,500 animals.
  • Birdhouse nest checks as part of ongoing purple martin conservation work.

They also get VIP seating for Rivers of Light and an afternoon snack and beverage option. The cost is $59 plus tax per person, and all guests must be at least 4 years old.

Tours can be booked in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529). Guests then check in at the Curiosity Animal Tours kiosk near the entrance to Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Check Out the Sweet New Trailer for ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’

Vanellope's Sweets and Treats on the Disney Dream is one of my absolute favorite spots to crush my sugar rush. The "Wreck-It Ralph"-inspired location features some extravagant ice cream sundaes including Ralph's Family Challenge and the Vanellope von Schweetz Go-Kart Sundae.

While you may have to be on-board the Disney Dream to enjoy these smash-worthy sweets, we have a special "Wreck-It Ralph" treat that you can enjoy right now.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 Teaser

The new trailer for "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck it Ralph 2" dropped today and I'm already excited to get the full download on Ralph and Vanellope's adventure into the world wide web.

"Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2" leaves Litwak's video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet—which may or may not survive Ralph's wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site "BuzzzTube." Directed by Rich Moore ("Zootopia," "Wreck-It Ralph") and Phil Johnston (co-writer "Wreck-It Ralph," "Cedar Rapids," co-writer "Zootopia,"), and produced by Clark Spencer ("Zootopia," "Wreck-It Ralph," "Bolt"), "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2" hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

Check out the new trailer below!

I can't wait to level up when "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2" bursts into theaters this Thanksgiving.

#DisneyFamilia: Elena Ear Hat + Purple Wall = Perfección!

By now, Princess Elena of Avalor needs no introduction. Ever since she made her debut at Magic Kingdom Park in August of 2016, she has enchanted us with her adventurous spirit and bold charm.

Our #DisneyFamilia fam is also obsessed with her one-of-a-kind style! Her beautiful gown full of color, paired with her sparkly crown make up what we would describe as an Insta-worthy combo.

Elena-inspired Ear Hat in front of Cinderella Castle

And while doing a little shopping at The Chapeau on Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park, we came across this beautiful Elena-inspired Ear Hat and our creatividad was sparked! We wasted no time and decided to head over to the famous Purple Wall for an impromptu photo session modeling what is now our favorite pair of ears.

It's a color match made in heaven!

You can find this beautiful Ear Hat at all four theme parks and Disney Springs! For more Elena-inspired items, check out ShopDisneyParks.com.

The Cultures of ‘it’s a small world’ at Disneyland Park: North America

The classic Disneyland park attraction "it's a small world" features many cultures and destinations, and a few months ago we started a trip around the "Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed" to give you a closer look at its varied destinations. Our previous travels have taken you to Latin America, Europe, the Pacific Islands, Africa and Asia. Now it's time for our final stop – North America.

Eskimo fishing near its igloo at it's a small world at Disneyland park

We begin our tour of North America in the snow-filled northern regions. Glittering icicles and snow blanket the Land of the Midnight Sun. Here Eskimos bundled in warm fur parkas welcome us as two of them ice fish near their igloo.

Over the next 17 months, Teresa underwent chemotherapy, radiation and surgery and she successfully completed her treatments in June 2017. Teresa joined more than 53,800 runners who participated in the largest women-focused running event in the country. In addition to the half marathon, the race weekend included a 5K, 10K, Kid's Races, and the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is one of four race weekends at Walt Disney World Resort, followed by the Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side Weekend sponsored by OtterBox on April 19 – April 22.
