From friends to sisters to mother-daughter pairs, this race has brought women of all ages together to achieve their runDisney dreams. Twenty-six countries were represented last weekend during Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort. Out of the almost 37,000 participants, 89 percent of them were female.
These running Princesses embody the spirit of Disney's new "Dream Big, Princess" campaign, which strives to inspire girls and kids around the world to realize their full potential and dream big. runDisney participants were able to watch this video for motivation minutes before the start of the Disney Princess Half Marathon!
Our friends at Disney Style agree it's the unity of women and overall girl power spirit of the Disney Princesses, which makes this race weekend so special.
