We've all heard the expression "love is in the air," right? The newest act to join "La Nouba" by Cirque du Soleil takes the sentiment literally. Ekaterina and Alexander Abramova are real-life partners who dazzle Disney Springs audiences with their daring aerial bamboo performance. Practically a lost art, aerial bamboo, a skillful mix of acrobatics and storytelling that takes place high above the stage, is rarely seen on modern stages.
"La Nouba" Artistic Director, Daniel Ross, compares the spectacle to poetry — after seeing the duo perform, I think it's the perfect analogy!
