The Disney Wonder set sail on its maiden voyage on this date in 1999.
The second ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet has an Art Nouveau-inspired interior that also includes a statue of Ariel in the lobby and Donald Duck hanging from the stern of the ship.
The four-night maiden voyage left from Port Canaveral and included stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay and a full day at sea. While sailing, the Disney Wonder met up with the Disney Magic, creating an opportunity to capture the two ships out at sea together.
Currently sailing from Vancouver, Canada, the Disney Wonder continues to provide magical vacation experiences for all who come aboard.
