One of the craziest attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom is Primeval Whirl. If you haven't experienced it before, it's a zany roller coaster that spins while you ride … as if the roller coaster part wasn't crazy enough! Primeval Whirl is the perfect example of the fun, wackiness of Dinoland. From its varied backstory to the eclectic signage, it has a wealth of details that tell the story of its inhabitants and the creatures that once roamed the area.
Jeff Maurer, designer turned paleontologist, created a photo album wallpaper featuring this unique area. Next time you're there, see if you can find the portrait of Chester and Hester – the couple who owned the Dinoland gas station and amusement park!
