Moms Panel Monday: Halloween on the High Seas

September will soon be here and with it comes the frightfully fun event, Halloween on the High Seas. During this spooktacular time, each Disney cruise ship will be transformed to celebrate the ghoulish holiday in true Disney style.

The wickedly fun sailing will be filled with Halloween-themed parties and festive entertainment. From Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, fun for the entire family, to Halloween Isn't Just For Kids, a night out for adults complete with a costume contest and dancing. There truly is something for everyone!

Along with all the extra fun these sailings offer, Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Beth S. reminds guests they will also be able to enjoy the amazing Broadway-style shows they have come to love, as well as Pirate Night.

"If you set sail on a Halloween on the High Seas cruise aboard the Disney Dream, you will still have a Pirate Night! (Please note, schedules are always subject to change.) If your itinerary is for three nights, all the Halloween and pirate-y fun is typically packed into one day/night. If you are embarking on a four-night itinerary, you can look forward to Mickey's Mouse-querade Party and Pirate Night on separate days/nights of your cruise."

And speaking of costumes, don't forget to pack one for the entire family! Stephanie L. encourages guests to even wear their costumes to dinner and remain in them after due to events later in the evening.

So, Halloween Isn't Just For Kids has your attention, but you aren't sure what to do with the kiddos? Disney Cruise Line has you covered. The Youth Clubs are amazing and even the tiniest of Mouseketeers will be taken care of on the ship, reminds Beth.

"One of the many things that sets Disney Cruise Line apart from any other cruise line is their outstanding Youth Clubs. "it's a small world" nursery will be the perfect hangout for your little princess! There is an additional cost for childcare in "it's a small world" nursery! Currently, the rate is $4.50 per half hour. (Please note, prices are always subject to change.) Advance reservations are required and because space is very limited, I recommend making them as soon as your cruise is paid in full and your advance booking window opens."

Other Youth Clubs include Disney's Oceaneer Club (ages 3-12), Disney's Oceaneer Lab (ages 3-12), Edge (ages 11-14) and Vibe (ages 14-17). The Clubs are free of charge and sorry mom and dad … these amazing spots are only for the kids!
