This hotel at Tokyo Disneyland Resort offers all sizes of accommodations, plus four types of themed Disney Character Rooms: Disney's Tinker Bell Room; Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" Room; Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" Room and Disney's "Cinderella" Room. The resort is also home to three signature restaurants: the Sherwood Garden Restaurant which offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner; Dreamer's Lounge, which offers buffet breakfast, and table-service lunch and dinner; and CANNA, which offers healthy and delicious lunches and dinners. The hotel also has a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onsite.

Take A Look at These New Renderings of Hong Kong Disneyland’s Multi-Year Expansion Plan

It's full speed ahead for Hong Kong Disneyland! Last week, the resort opened the first new entertainment offering of its multi-year expansion plan – "Moana: A Homecoming Celebration" – and work is underway to bring even more exciting experiences to life almost every year through 2023.

A new Marvel attraction will bring guests into the action alongside Ant-Man and The Wasp to battle Arnim Zola and his army of Hydra swarm bots. This attraction will be part of an entire Marvel-themed area coming to Hong Kong Disneyland as part of the expansion.

The park will soon invite guests into an immersive "Frozen"-themed area with new dining, shopping and entertainment. This image may look familiar, but take a closer look! Something new is captured in this updated rendering.

Sleeping Beauty Castle at Hong Kong Disneyland will be even more breathtaking once its transformation is complete, showcasing new daytime and nighttime spectaculars.

Residents of Rafiki’s Planet Watch #PlayBig in Honor of Toy Story Land’s June 30 Opening

Everyone I know – cast members, guests and, of course, Disney Parks Blog readers – are counting down the days until Toy Story Land opens at Walt Disney World Resort. We just can't wait to #PlayBig in this exciting new area of Disney's Hollywood Studios!

And speaking of "playing big," even the animal residents at Rafiki's Planet Watch got in on the excitement earlier this week when the Pixar Ball stopped by the park for some enrichment playtime. Enrichment is just one of the tools used to provide excellent care for our animals. Animal care experts enrich animal habitats with the intention of encouraging behaviors like bat, chase, kick, nudge, paw, sniff and generally having a great time. Animal care experts also rely on positive training methods that encourage animals to participate in their daily health care and challenge them to stay mentally active.

Check out the video above to watch these barnyard animals have a blast with the ball. And while you're at Disney's Animal Kingdom, look no "feather" than Rafiki's Planet Watch to see for yourself some rare, domesticated breeds of chickens and more playing big.

To get there, you'll travel aboard the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, known as the "Scenic Railway of the World," for an unforgettable journey that traces the "Trail of '98" used by the Klondike Gold Rush Stampeders in the late 19th century. Once you're gliding on the serene waters of the alpine lake, enjoy unobstructed panoramic views of the stunning wilderness with snow-capped mountains rising in all directions.

Glacier Point Wilderness Safari – Another way to get a taste of the Alaskan wilderness is on this wildlife-focused trip that combines a boat ride through the breathtaking Lynn Canal fjord with a voyager canoe adventure at the foot of a glacier. On your scenic ride through the fjord, watch for whales and sea lions. Then, board a 31-foot voyager canoe and paddle together toward the face of Davidson Glacier, which tumbles from the towering mountains into the pristine lake. The intense blue of the ice, contrasting the polished granite walls and vibrant green forest, is a spectacular sight you will never forget!

The Pixarmonic Orchestra Entertains Guests During Pixar Fest at Disney California Adventure Park

One thing I love about the musical talent found at the Disneyland Resort is that it's always unique. The seven-piece band known as The Pixarmonic Orchestra is certainly no exception!

Here to celebrate Pixar Fest, The Pixarmonic Orchestra (presented by TripleDent Gum from the Pixar film "Inside Out," of course!) performs an array of musical styles in a fun and upbeat fashion that fits the Pixar tunes perfectly.

The group performs its repertoire of songs using traditional instruments, as well as unconventional music makers such as cowbells, kazoos, duck calls, sirens and slide whistles. Even their costumes are zany! Bold plaid patterns are blended with a mid-century modern style, which suits their music style perfectly. Check out video below!

Later this summer, The Pixarmonic Orchestra will move from the Paradise Garden Bandstand in Disney California Adventure park to a new location at Pixar Pier. Check out Pixar Fest going on now through September 3 at the Disneyland Resort!

Celebrate Disney’s ‘Peter Pan’ 65th Anniversary Edition Release

In celebration of the 65th anniversary Walt Disney Signature Collection release of Disney's "Peter Pan," Walt Disney World Resort guests will be treated to special entertainment and activities this Saturday, June 2nd.

At 1:30 p.m. at Magic Kingdom Park, Peter Pan, Wendy and the Lost Boys, will "Follow the Leader" along with invited DisneyBounding guests up and down Main Street, U.S.A. in a mini-parade. Be on the lookout for pirates led by the nefarious Captain Hook too!

That evening, Guests of Walt Disney World Resorts can also cozy up under the second star to the right for a showing of "Peter Pan" during Movies Under the Stars and receive a special "Peter Pan" 65th Anniversary Walt Disney Signature Collection poster, while supplies last.

The Walt Disney Signature Collection edition of "Peter Pan" invites adventurers of all ages to believe in magic once again and experience a timeless treasure from Disney's Golden Age of Animation. "Peter Pan" has stirred the hearts and imaginations of moviegoers worldwide since its original 1953 release. The Signature Collection edition offers over two hours of classic bonus features plus never-before-seen extras, including the latest installment of "Stories from Walt's Office," which explores Walt's love of flying and the company planes; a nostalgic reunion between Kathryn Beaumont (the voice of Wendy) and Paul Collins (the voice of John); and new "Oke" renditions of the classic song "You Can Fly" and deleted song "Never Smile at a Crocodile" accompanied by on-screen lyrics and the film's unforgettable animated characters.

Celebrate the 15th Anniversary of ‘Finding Nemo’ with This Wallpaper

Just like Dory in "Finding Nemo," my memory is a bit challenged. In many ways, it is the bane of my existence and a blessing in others. For example, my sister Geri often asks if I remember details from our trip to Europe…"you know, that little café in Florence we loved" or "the time we saw the Champs-Élysées." I go blank. Nope. Nothing in the memory banks.

On the other hand, I can watch a movie a thousand times and never remember the ending. Does that sound like someone (or some fish) we know and love? Yes, it's true, I'm Dory's twin (minus the fins and blue scales).

This month marks the 15th anniversary of meeting our favorite fish family in "Finding Nemo." At the Walt Disney World Resort, we have a few guest offerings inspired by the film – including the wonderfully colorful "Finding Nemo – The Musical" at Disney's Animal Kingdom and The Seas With Nemo & Friends at Epcot. Both attractions offer an adventurous look at the undersea world of Nemo and his pals, with the important message to "just keep swimming" no matter what life throws at you!

In honor of the film's anniversary, designer Jeff Maurer created this fun digital wallpaper that looks back to the reef that drew us all in.

Update on the Star Wars Immersive Resort Planned for Walt Disney World Resort

Last summer, plans for a Star Wars-inspired destination at Walt Disney World Resort were unveiled at the D23 Expo.

Today we are happy to share the location of this exciting addition, which is currently under development on the south side of Disney's Hollywood Studios, just east of World Drive. This location will allow the experience to be seamlessly connected to the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, enabling guests to fully immerse themselves in the story of Star Wars.

This experience stands out among all of our destinations around the globe. Families visiting this destination will board a starship that comes alive with characters and stories that unfold all around them during their voyage through the galaxy – and every cabin window has views of space! Guests visiting the multi-day adventure will also be welcome to participate as a resident of the Galaxy by dressing in Star Wars-inspired attire.

A Look Inside Donald’s Dino-Bash! Celebration at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

DinoLand, U.S.A. at Disney's Animal Kingdom is playing host to Donald's Dino-Bash!, a dinosaur-themed party that celebrates Donald Duck's discovery that his bird ancestors were actually dinosaurs.

As a part of the celebration, DinoLand, U.S.A. features colorful new décor and playful character greetings with rarely seen pals like Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack and more. A DJ-powered dance party also mixes tunes from the truck-o-saurus stage, capping the nighttime festivities.

Fresh New Look and Tastes of Southern Italy at Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria at Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort

If you've been to the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort recently, you may have noticed the Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria has been undergoing some exciting changes – and we're happy to announce that the first phase of these renovations is complete! Located on the ground level, a new modern patio offers guests a place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a delicious dish or beverage on a warm summer day. The patio has a new outside bar, as well as additional seating for al fresco dining and is just steps away from the theme park esplanade.

In addition, this classic Neapolitan eatery has also recently added some tasty new items to the menu just in time for summer! New additions include Trofie, Gnocchetti, Barramundi Alla Livornese, five new gourmet pizzas, and some new, delightfully refreshing mocktails.

Joining an array of delicious pastas, the Trofie and Gnocchetti are dishes that will delight your taste buds. The Trofie comes with twisted pasta, shrimp, basil pesto, green beans, and fresh tomatoes; while the Gnoccheti consists of hand-made potato dumplings, fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, and Parmesan cheese. You can also enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean Sea with the Barramundi Alla Livornese. This sea bass dish comes with spinach, tomato, capers, olives, garlic, onions, and chili flakes.

Using Caputo flour imported from Naples, you'll find several new pizzas on the menu, all featuring gourmet toppings and authentic Italian flavors. If you're looking for vegetarian options, the Marinara e Capperi or the Melanzane pizzas are the way to go. Both are made with tomato sauce and topped with fresh, vegetarian ingredients. The Marinara e Capperi is topped with capers, garlic, and oregano, and the Melanzane is topped with mozzarella, fried eggplant, and basil.

For a little more protein, there are two pizzas made with tomato sauce and ham. The Porchetta pizza is made topped with Porchetta ham and mozzarella, and the Capricciosa is topped with mozzarella, roasted red peppers, Parma ham, and green olives. There's also a Pesto e Gamberi pizza made with pesto sauce and topped with mozzarella, shrimp, and fresh tomatoes.

Of course, a warm meal just isn't complete without a refreshing beverage. Naples has a few new non-alcoholic mocktails to the menu like the The Lunch Punch consists of lemon juice, pomegranate juice, and apple juice; the Capri Holiday includes orange juice, lemonade, blood orange syrup and amaretto syrup, and the signature Naples Blush has pomegranate juice, blood orange juice, lemon juice, and sparkling soda.

But that's not all! There's even more in store for this modern southern Italy-inspired eatery. Set to be completed later this year are renovations to the upstairs outdoor area and interior space. The restaurant will have a modern, European feel featuring clean lines and bold Italian-inspired patterns.

This refurbishment is a part of the larger, promenade-wide transformation at Downtown Disney with multiple new venues and refurbishments other dining and retail locations. While these renovations are underway, Downtown Disney remains open to guests and a hot spot for hanging out with friends and family.

Pandora – The World of Avatar Time Capsule: Imagineers Create the Most Advanced Audio-Animatronic, the Shaman of Songs for Na’vi River Journey

Have you ever wanted to see how an Audio-Animatronics figure was created for a Disney Park? Well, today you're in luck.

We're continuing to celebrate the first anniversary of Pandora – The World of Avatar by sharing an amazing behind-the-scenes look at how our Imagineers designed the most advanced Audio-Animatronics figure in Imagineering history – the Shaman of Songs.

Guests can encounter the Shaman of Songs inside Na'vi River Journey, after they board a boat and are whisked away on an immersive journey deep into a bioluminescent rainforest on Pandora. There, the Shaman of Songs sits, sending positive energy out into the forest through the power of her movements and music.

But bringing her to life required the Imagineering/LEI project team to not only apply the latest technologies in robotics, but also develop an estimated 20 new technologies to bring this figure to life. The goal was to make the figure's tech as hidden as possible, to make the shaman as lifelike as possible.

Ever wished you could order your lunch at the touch of a button? Now Disneyland Resort guests can do just that and more, thanks to the new mobile ordering service now available on the Disneyland App!

To order from any of the 15 fast casual and quick-service restaurant locations, simply download the Disneyland App (or install the latest app update) and follow the prompts to register for an account. From there, you can search for a participating location, select an arrival time window for pickup, choose items from the menu and place an order.

Disney Parks Blog Readers Are Among the First to See Solo: A Star Wars Story

Two-hundred Disney Parks Blog readers gathered Thursday night, thrilled to be among the first to see Solo: A Star Wars Story at AMC Disney Springs 24.

Our group featured many guests wearing Star Wars-inspired outfits and costumes, and in addition to a screening of the film, they also got to enjoy appearances by costumed fan groups including the 501st Legion, a Wookiee Roar challenge, complimentary buttons, and photo ops.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, is an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes.

Celebrate Solo: A Star Wars Story With Chewbacca Merchandise at Disney Parks

Pandora – The World of Avatar Time Capsule: From Beam Signing To One Year Anniversary

Just one year ago, guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom first experienced the wonder of Pandora – The World of Avatar. There, guests are able to experience the wonder of the moon, its thrilling waterfalls, resplendent nighttime bioluminescent plant life, enjoy the adventure offered at Na'vi River Journey and the chance to experience flying atop a banshee at Avatar Flight of Passage.

In honor of the land's first anniversary, our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering have cracked open their video vault to share a few precious video clips right here with you over the next few days.

The first video in the series takes us back to when the first beam was raised on the land that would become Pandora – The World of Avatar.
