Last week, 400 Disney Parks Blog readers enjoyed a special advanced screening of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" at AMC Downtown Disney 12 at the Disneyland Resort. Before blasting into this hilarious new adventure, they were greeted by one of the stars of the film, Sean Gunn!
After the screening, fans joined Downtown Disney District guests for the Awesome Mix Vol. 2 Soundtrack Release Party at the event stage. Live dueling DJs mixed fan-favorite tracks from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films and hosted trivia, games and giveaways. There were even special appearances by Sean Gunn and celebrity choreographer D-trix, who taught fans the official #GrootDance.
Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" continues the team's adventures. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid.
