The Disney Parks Moms Panel Awards, our own prestigious accolades in honor of Hollywood's awards season, continues this week with the help of the moms, dads and grandparents of the Disney Parks Moms Panel. This week we are taking the awards to the high seas with panel favorites for Disney Cruise Line.
Category: Favorite Adults Only Space
Senses Spa & Salon rose to the top for favorite adults only space aboard Disney Cruise Line, but this was a close category with so many options for adults onboard. Serenity Bay Beach at Disney Castaway Cay, Palo restaurant, Quiet Cove Pool and Europa entertainment district rounded out the top five for favorite adults only spaces. You can also enjoy adults only variety & game shows at night while your kids have the time of their lives at the youth spaces onboard. "My kids don't want to leave the clubs once they're there!" shares Marcy G.
Category: Favorite Broadway Style Show
The shows on board Disney Cruise Line are nothing short of spectacular! "Believe" was chosen as favorite Broadway-Style show telling the story of a father rediscovering his belief in magic. "Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic" and "Tangled: The Musical" were also among the top favorites. Don't miss out of the brand new "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular" aboard Disney Wonder or the newly announced "Beauty & the Beast" coming to Disney Dream in November 2017. With the first ever fireworks at sea, Pirate Night was chosen at favorite family fun moment aboard Disney Cruise Line. This swashbuckling night features a themed menu, up beat deck parties, lots of costumes, and more, plus it always ends with a bang! The Disney Parks Moms Panelists also enjoy riding on the AquaDuck water coaster, seeing a first-run film at the Buena Vista Theater or participating in a trivia or family game show at DLounge. Category: Favorite Dining Experience
The dining options are every Disney Parks Moms Panelist's favorite part of a Disney Cruise with sit-down, buffet, quick service and room service options available. Animator's Palate tops the list as favorite dining experience from the long list options. This colorful restaurant showcases an entertaining dinner show aboard each Disney Cruise Line ship, and is part of the rotational dining program. This program allows you to dine at a different restaurant each night, and your server team travels with you. So, they already know your preferences! The brand new Tiana's Place was also amongst the Disney Parks Moms Panel's favorites. This jazzy new restaurant was inspired by the "Princess & the Frog" as is one of many new enhancements aboard Disney Wonder.
Category: Favorite Itinerary
The Bahamian itinerary was chosen as favorite itinerary by the Disney Parks Moms Panelists for one main reason, Disney's private island paradise, Castaway Cay! Beth S. recommends this itinerary as a great choice for first time cruisers, the shorter 3-&4-Night options are a great way to test out your sea legs. The Disney Parks Moms Panelists also love the Alaskan and Mediterranean itineraries offered over the summer and the seasonal themed sailings, like Halloween on the High Seas Cruises & Very Merrytime Cruises, but they just can't wait to experience Marvel Day at Sea kicking off this Fall.
