We constantly hear from our guests how much they enjoy the Disney Sea & Shore Weeks on "Wheel of Fortune." It's a fantastic opportunity to see three very different Disney Vacation experiences – all while playing along with America's Game! So, I'm excited to tell you that it's back again, starting tonight!!
We've had exciting adventures with the "Wheel" Team on amazing Disney Cruises – (I still think of that ultra-relaxing day on Castaway Cay!) We also visited the beautiful Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii not too long ago, as well. (Sadly, my tan has faded.) You'll get to see highlights from those trips throughout the week!
But, most recently, we had a truly unique experience. I always tell you that I have the best job at Disney … and working on this production may have been the most fun I've had to date! We played host to our friends Pat Sajak and Vanna White as we took our first Adventures by Disney trips … to London and Ireland!
Pat and Vanna, along with the crew from "Wheel of Fortune" made memories that will last a lifetime as we all traveled to amazing locales. A few highlights: In London, we saw Buckingham Palace and Winsor Castle, and participated in an authentic archery experience at a beautiful British Estate. In Ireland, we visited an authentic Irish Farm, experienced the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher … and, our "home" there was a real Irish Castle! (And these are just some of the things you'll see when you take your own Adventures by Disney vacation.)
Good news is, you'll get to see many of these experiences throughout the week of shows, beginning tonight – along with clever puzzles, a dazzling set, special contestants who love these destinations just as much as we all do … and there's plenty of inspiration, too, for your next Disney vacation as you venture outside the theme parks.
