Guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland may have recently spotted some familiar friends along the shores of the Rivers of America, thanks to a new themed area opened just this week! Camp Woodchuck carries on the rich legacy of Disney storytelling, celebrating the wilderness with fun and adventure inspired by three very special members of the Junior Woodchucks of the World, Donald Duck's nephews – Huey, Dewey and Louie.
Camp Woodchuck in Westernland gives guests the chance to meet Donald and Daisy Duck in a unique, immersive environment drawing from classic Disney comic books and film shorts. From new troop leader uniforms and original artwork to handcrafted decorations, every detail allows guests jump into the story and learn how to become Junior Woodchucks themselves. Check out all of the hidden details and touches in photo below, and count on walking away with a few stories worthy of a campfire by the end of your visit!
And after all that adventuring in the great outdoors, what better than to tuck in at the new Camp Woodchuck Kitchen and watch a few canoes float by on the Rivers of America? Special camping-style treats await, including a dessert inspired by classic s'mores and some tasty waffle sandwiches. Guests can even buy up some unique merchandise at the new Happy Camper Supplies nearby.
There's no telling what discoveries are in store with a visit to Camp Woodchuck! It's just the latest adventure guests will find at the ever-expanding Tokyo Disney Resort, as we continue to add new and more exciting ways for our guests to experience the magic of Disney and make memories to last a lifetime.
