This year, I'm making my way around World Showcase at Epcot with a monthly series of shopping stories. You may recall the first story that featured a visit to Canada Pavilion. Today, I'm sharing details about my recent stop in United Kingdom Pavilion.
When visiting the United Kingdom Pavilion, I love strolling along the cobblestone street and admiring the architecture of the shop facades. From a nod to Hampton's Court Palace to a quiet English cottage, the shop exteriors are just as interesting as what's found inside.
Inside, guests will find a wonderful mix of products representing the best of the British Isles. These items include apparel, jewelry, accessories, decorative items, consumables and much more. There's even a spot to look up name histories and family crests.
At The Tea Caddy, guest can build their own selection of Twinings teas using a specially designed wooden slot box. I also found items inspired by a trip to London, England such as a toy London bus and apparel decorated with Disney characters.
The Sportsman's Shoppe now offers golf accessories from The Old Course at St. Andrews, plenty of football items, and an assortment of pub goods from my favorite place to grab a pint, the Rose & Crown Pub located across the street from the shop.
Finally, the Toy Solider houses a mix of products from popular British television shows like "Doctor Who," or British musicians like The Beatles and David Bowie.
I could probably write two articles about the United Kingdom Pavilion as there are numerous unique products offered in its many shops. Instead, I'll share an image gallery of other things that caught my eye during my visit.
