For all of you Disney fans here in California, you are probably like me and are sometimes at a loss of what to wear. The calendar says winter is officially here and yet, it’s definitely ringing true to a California winter! In my experience, that feels more like a cross between spring and summer. However you know that it cools down quite a bit at night and that winter chill slowly creeps up on you and before you know it … you’re cold. So how can you plan on keeping warm but still look cool while visiting the Disneyland Resort or while watching some of our nighttime parades and spectaculars? It’s easy… here are a few top choices and quick tips.
Consider what we call the Disneyland 55 Authentic hooded jacket which comes in navy blue and charcoal grey. The navy blue one features Mickey Mouse on the back, while the charcoal grey features Grumpy. Look for them at Disney Clothiers and Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland park; World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District; and Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure park.
Another way to stay warm and cozy is to snuggle up with one of our fleece throws. I especially like the design featuring Snow Car, available at Radiator Springs Curios and the Radiator Springs Racers throw which features elements, icons, and characters from the attraction, and is available now at Ramone’s House of Body Art and Sarge’s Surplus Hut.
Quick Tip: Purchase this Disneyland Throw for only $19.95 when you spend $40 (before tax, after discount) or more in merchandise at participating Disneyland Resort locations. Check it out!
The special offer is taking place right now at locations throughout the Disneyland Resort including Disney Showcase, Emporium, Gag Factory, Pioneer Mercantile and Star Trader in Disneyland park; Gone Hollywood and Oswald’s in Disney California Adventure park; and World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District as well as Disneyland Resort Hotel stores.
If you are looking for something that is more your cup of tea, maybe this will work. Plan on taking home some of our Disney Wonderland Tea. It’s the ‘Official Unbirthday Tea’ you can enjoy all year round. Enjoy flavors like Earl Grey, Lemon Chamomile, Blueberry, Mad Tea Party Blend, Mango and Pomegranate.
Hot cocoa is more my speed, so if you’re lucky enough to come across some, be sure to add it to the mix.
Quick Tip: Remember to use your Disneyland Resort Annual Passholder merchandise discount whenever applicable.
Are there any jackets, throws, or accessories that top your list or you never leave home without while braving the cold?
