Halloween is over and we’re already on our way to the holiday season here at Walt Disney World Resort. That goes for this series, too – this week’s look back at Magic Kingdom Park’s parade history focuses on one of the early holiday parades held at the park, the 1976 Christmas Parade.
Herbie the Love Bug was one of the stars of the parade. Also appearing to celebrate the holiday season were Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse aboard a moving gazebo, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and of course, Santa Claus and a team of marching, musical elves.
