Disneyland Resort fans have already submitted their holiday cards to be included in “World of Color – Winter Dreams” at Disney California Adventure park, and now it’s time to lend your voices! We’re teaming up with GRAMMY®-winning composer Eric Whitacre to produce “Glow,” a new song written especially for the new holiday show, opening November 15. The piece will be performed by the “World of Color” Honor Choir, inspired by Eric Whitacre’s virtual choirs, with hundreds of voices joined by technology. All you need is a computer, webcam, Internet connection and your voice!
Here’s how it works: Sign up here, learn your part, record your audition video and submit it. Selected submissions by U.S. residents age 18 or older will be joined together to form the “World of Color” Honor Choir.
We invite new as well as experienced singers, who are U.S. residents age 18 or older, to participate in the creation of beautiful music to be performed as part of this new nighttime spectacular. And if you’re new to online choral performances, don’t worry. Visit this online forum, where a technical support team backed by a robust community of experienced online choral singers can assist you through the process.
Are you ready to learn your part? The deadline for submissions is Sunday, October 6, so don’t delay. Ready, set, GLOW!
